Kingswood

Kingswood was a very fun experience and we learnt lots of life skills when we stayed. Everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. As soon as we arrived in Kingswood, we had to put our own bedding on – which proved to be very difficult! Our daily routine was to wake up, get ready, eat breakfast and go to our first activity. There were a range of activities to do and we had one hour of free time a day as well. Overall, the activities taught us how to take risks, be a team and support each other. We had morning, afternoon and evening activities. We looked forward to lunch and dinner because we would work up quite an appetite and it was so delicious – especially the desserts One evening we took part in a traditional camp fire and learnt new songs. It was the best residential visit ever! Some of the activities were really challenging but fun and exciting. They make us try and push ourselves out of our comfort zone.
