National Story Telling Week

Storytelling Week felt like a warm cosy blanket, as the children snuggled up to listen to a story read to them by a wide range of different people including parents as guest readers. Stories were being read everywhere you turned! Mrs Sammee reading to the midday supervisors, children reading to children, teachers swapped classes, to   read to a class that was not their own.

We reminded ourselves of how we learn to read and then read to learn. The week ended with Number Day! Symbols of a different kind and equally as important as letters.
