Poppy planting in Clayhall Park – Rememberence

On Friday the 9th of November, the Rights Respecting Ambassadors met with local councillors and members of the local community to mark the centenary of the end of the first world war.  At our local park, the children read their remembrance  poems and laid  a range of poppy symbols as a mark of respect.  After listening to their poems, their audience remarked on the depth of understanding and empathy the children displayed.
