Parkhill Junior enjoyed another scintillating STEM day on the 19th June. Classes were set the challenge of building a aircraft that would fly the furthest. Brains were aching as pupils grappled with aerodynamics, wingspan, air resistance and how to defy gravity!
As well as the flight competition, we were visited by an inspirational speaker – a trained biochemist who specialises in Machine Intelligence. Mr Shazad also brought in his robot: Sonny, who demonstrated what the future of robotics engineering may be like. The STEM experiences keep getting better and better at Parkhill Junior!
