On Monday 20th May, Year 6 embarked on an exciting adventure to their residential visit to Kingswood. Over the week, the children were given the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones and really challenge themselves. They engaged in a range of activities with high rope challenges including: abseiling, 3G swing, wall climbing and zip-wire. As well as this, they took part in other challenges such as archery, fencing, buggie-building, environmental art and lazer-tag. The children also learnt some key bushcraft skills including: shelter building, fire building and witling. Having taken on more responsibility for themselves and given more independence; the children returned from this experience feeling ready to tackle the challenges of secondary school. We are proud of your achievements Year 6.
