After the Christmas holidays, the Year 6 boys in the art club have had the opportunity to work with some Year 7 pupils in the local secondary school: Beal High School.
We began by mark making onto lino tiles to practising controlling the tools. Then we took our image of food and redesigned it so it was just black and white. We had to make it bold and ensure there isn’t too much white in the background. The Students from Beal helped us to create our designs.
We have just transferred our images onto the tiles and now we will need to take out all the parts of the lino we want to remain white when we print.
