HPL Global Competition

A team of children at Parkhill entered a global High Performance Learning competition. They took part in a “Project for Change” whereby they created a hedgehog sculpture made from recycled pens, pencils and markers and they attached these to a paper‑mâché form. The children chose this to raise awareness of the decreasing hedgehog population. Across the project they showed ambition, resilience, collaboration, creativity, clear confident communication and accountability. They also showed independence and ethical responsibility as they turned classroom recyclable items into a sustainable innovation. We all are so proud of how hard they worked!
