At Parkhill Junior School, our children stepped into leadership roles during High Performance Learning Day, taking on responsibilities as teachers, the headteacher, receptionist, caretakers and more. They demonstrated outstanding ambition and resilience while applying for the job they wanted to do. Specific HPL skills they exhibited were, critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, communication, and autonomy. Pupils delivered lessons, managed daily school operations, solved real-time problems and gave constructive feedback to peers. Their exemplary organisation, perseverance and responsibility made the day a powerful learning experience — building confidence, leadership and transferable skills that will benefit their whole school journey and beyond.
