The children at Parkhill Junior had a wonderful time learning and performing poems chosen by their class teacher. They practised through echo reading and this engaging method helped build confidence, improve fluency and make poetry come alive. The students thoroughly enjoyed exploring the rhythm, language and expression in each poem, showcasing their new skills with pride. It was a memorable celebration of creativity and spoken word!
