On Tuesday 25th January, Year 5 and 6 were taken on a fantastic journey to the moon. As we were unable to go on our annual educational visit to the planetarium, we brought the planetarium to us instead! Through this fully immersive interactive experience, the children learned interesting facts about our solar system and in particular, about the moon. The experience was truly out of this world!
“I really enjoyed the planetarium, as it was something we don’t often experience. It was a really fun and educational experience.” Reiden 6N
“Space is one of my favourite topics in science. I have always wanted to experience being in space. In the planetarium, we did just that! It had 3D images and we learnt lots of interesting facts about astronauts that have been on missions into space.” Anabia 6W
