The Year 6 children had the opportunity to visit SPACE gallery, in Ilford and work with the artist Joanne Tyler. After looking at the work she had produced with local residence, the children created their own pieces of artwork by carefully considering colour and form.
In another part of the gallery, there was a projector show different colours. The children experimented with creating different shadows and how to ‘play’ with the coloured light.
They also created butterflies of dreams which we hope to show in the reception.
