Year 5 and Year 6 children went to space earlier this term when they had the experience of visiting the wonders of the universe through the Wonderdome. This immersion opportunity, gave the children a sense of awe and wonder. It also enabled the children to challenge stereotypes and understand the role of science in the future.
“Wow, it was so amazing, I felt like I was there. We made model solar systems earlier in our topic so I knew lots of information but there was so much new information like Mercury is the only planet in a fully upright position.” Amrrutha. 5D
