Tudor Day

The exciting learning has continued in Year 5, and the children have really impressed us with their positive attitudes towards their learning. We celebrated our learning about The Tudors with a special Tudor day where we took part in different creative activities.

We learned a Tudor Dance that would have been danced in court. We had to listen really carefully to the music and work collaboratively with our partners. “The Tudor dance was really good fun because we worked in groups and had to listen really carefully to the music.” Kelian 5W

Following our visit to the National portrait gallery, we created Tudor portraits. We used a variety of different textiles and materials to create our portraits. “On Tudor day we did lots of fun activities including Art, We had lots of fun and really enjoyed ourselves.” Jessie 5C
